Discovery, Inc. and Radical have unveiled South Korea’s first indoor ‘nature park’, Discovery Naturescape, which will bring to life the world’s deserts, forests, glaciers, canyons and volcanoes through immersive exhibitions and virtual installations.
Set to soft launch this month, Discovery Naturescape will feature more than 25 experiences across several zones. Highlights include ‘Canyon’, a multi-sensory experience, and ‘Highland’, a mountain climbing experience.
“Discovery, Inc. is a world leader in real-life entertainment and we are excited to collaborate with Radical to further extend our brand in South Korea,” said Jeeyoung Lee, senior VP and general manager, South Korea, at Discovery, Inc.

“At a time when experiences have been limited, Discovery Naturescape offers children and adults alike a new, fun and enriching adventure through some of nature’s most inspiring wonders.”
Additionally, ‘Cliff’ is an exploration of crystalline structures and lava tubes, ‘Habitat’ is an ancient forest experience, and ‘Cavern’ allows visitors to witness our planet’s origin.
‘Dune’ is a multi-sensory, desert-themed experience, ‘Waterfall’ is an exhilarating waterfall climbing experience, ‘Free Fall’ is a bungee jumping activity, while ‘Healing Forest’ is a virtual reality (VR) and hologram experience.

“We are pleased to partner with Discovery to launch the first indoor nature park in Korea and present a new standard of theme parks featuring unique themed content,” said Kangwoo Lee, CEO of Radical.
“We will continue to build on our partnership, including an expansion of the Discovery Naturescape experience to outdoor and metaverse by integrating on and offline touch points.”
