Expo 2020 Dubai Pavilion guide – more pavilions revealed

Dubai Expo 2020 has unveiled four more pavilions, including Belgium’s ‘green ark’ and Belarus’ forest experience.

Organised around ideas of Sustainability, Mobility and Opportunity, the Dubai 2020 Expo is themed ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’.

Hundreds of pavilions at the 1083-acre site will feature interactive, themed exhibits, immersive cultural experiences, live entertainment, quirky hangouts and more.

Belgium Pavilion

Explore Belgium’s ‘green ark’ at Expo 2020 Dubai, which will draw on renewable resources to feed its energy needs, smart technologies to feed its plants, and Belgian cuisine to feed its guests – including its world-famous fries.

Belarus Pavilion

A forest experience highlighting lessons that humanity can learn from the natural world, Belarus’ pavilion will explore themes of innovation, investment and the individual.

Republic of Korea Pavilion

A future-facing experience will be on offer at the Republic of Korea Pavilion, as its design constantly changes through the innovative use of rotating cubes.

The structure will feature the best of Korean art, style and technology, as well as K-pop music.

Spain pavilion

With a town square atmosphere, the Spain Pavilion will depict Spanish creativity throughout the ages, exploring everything from historical innovation to biodiversity.

Dubai Expo 2020, located between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, is the first to be held in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia region.

AI at the UK Pavilion and Hyperloop at the USA Pavilion

The UK’s pavilion at the Dubai World Expo 2020 will use artificial intelligence to write poems, in a giant illuminated “message to space”.

Details of the USA Pavilion have also been revealed. It will feature a simulated Hyperloop experience, giving visitors the experience of travelling in a futuristic mode of transport.
