Float4 Realmotion at Atomic Golf in Las Vegas

Float4, an award-winning multidisciplinary studio that integrates digital experiences in physical spaces, has shared that its proprietary Realmotion technology has been deployed at the new Atomic Golf attraction in Las Vegas, US.

Realmotion was chosen to drive most of the digital installations at the new Atomic Golf location, which features LG digital displays across its entire four-floor, 100,000-square-foot expanse.

Delegates at InfoComm can meet representatives from Realmotion at booth #W558. The team will be showcasing multiple interactive pieces powered by its Realmotion G-Series servers and will also debut the new Realmotion Engine software which is set to launch this summer. InfoComm is the biggest AV tech in North America and is taking place in Las Vegas from 8 to 14 June.

Customisable, immersive entertainment

Simply Connected, Atomic Golf’s AV integrator, commissioned Realmotion to power the venue’s varied displays. Six G2 and five G8 media servers support each display, with material tailored to its precise location inside the attraction to improve the overall guest experience. Sign&Volume, a creative agency, contributed significantly to the content creation.

The Astrocade, the central entertainment area, features vertical and horizontal digital columns that run the length of the four-storey open-air area and significantly add to its vibrant ambience. They are accompanied by two massive 37- and 57-foot-long displays, which are perfect for live television broadcasting or visual branding during events.

With Realmotion, these displays may show 2, 5, or 8 live streams at once, providing a variety of possibilities for any kind of event.

Another notable area of Atomic Golf is the Cosmic Lounge. Here, a variety of displays create an immersive experience and power a huge 130-foot floor display that runs along the corridors and climbs a wall, and a 42-foot curving display on the ceiling. In addition, an 86-foot display covers the length of the bar and offers flexible layouts with up to four distinct live feeds for customised entertainment.

Realmotion’s technology goes beyond the main areas to include monitors in the 103 golf bays, the 33-foot exterior pylon marquee, and the external entrance display which measures 276 by 29.5 feet. The variety of displays adds to Atomic Golf’s contemporary and engaging atmosphere, demonstrating the seamless integration of technology and entertainment in a vivid and unforgettable setting.

Earlier this year, Float4 revealed its artwork Opulence at the leading resort and casino, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The spectacular multimedia piece transports visitors to a fantasy land where intriguing figures come to life in a dreamlike setting.
