GoPhoto, a provider of innovative photography services that allow visitors to capture lasting memories of their experience, has launched a new US office in collaboration with Ripley Entertainment, one of the biggest and fastest-growing chains of amusement attractions worldwide.

Setting a new benchmark

The new US entity, jointly owned by GoPhoto and Ripley Entertainment, will be headquartered in Orlando, an acclaimed tourism and entertainment hub. The collaboration combines GoPhoto’s cutting-edge photo retail technology with Ripley Entertainment’s global reputation for providing exceptional experiences to audiences of all ages.

Daniel Duivestein, founder and CEO of GoPhoto, says: “We are thrilled to join forces with Ripley’s to bring the next evolution in photo retail to the leisure and themed entertainment industry. This collaboration reflects our shared vision of enhancing guest experiences through cutting-edge technology.”

Ripley Entertainment is known for its wide range of attractions, including Believe It or Not! Odditoriums, Ripley’s Aquariums, and interactive touring shows. It is excited to integrate GoPhoto’s cutting-edge technology into its venues. The partnership seeks to create a new industry standard by providing guests with unmatched photo experiences and keepsakes.

Jim Pattison Jr., president of Ripley Entertainment Inc., says: “We are excited to support GoPhoto’s expansion into North America. Having successfully implemented GoPhoto’s systems in our attractions worldwide, we are confident that their innovative approach will not only enhance our offerings but also elevate the overall standard of photo retail in the entertainment industry.”

Duivestein will relocate to Orlando to oversee US operations and ensure the venture’s success. His leadership and extensive industry knowledge will be key to maximising the collaboration’s potential.

Earlier this year, Kikira Pirika, general manager at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium, spoke about Ripley’s recent collaboration with GoPhoto for their photography services and combo pricing at IAAPA Expo Asia 2024. “This allows guests to get on with their day and have fun on their own terms,” said Pirika.
