Theme parks across America use the firm’s software to streamline operations

Mobaro, a provider of online maintenance and safety solutions, is preparing to return to IAAPA Expo, presenting new features for ride maintenance and technical services teams. Since its last appearance in Orlando, the firm has acquired a new group of amusement and theme parks, water parks, zoos and family entertainment centres which now use the CMMS system.

Trusted by maintenance managers around the world, Mobaro reached a significant company landmark last year, unveiling its ride operations app that connects ride operator duties with the CMMS in a single state-of-the-art platform that breaks down business silos and adds transparency.

“As we have seen in Europe, digitization and optimization of maintenance and operations is something many parks and attractions are looking for but are often hesitant to embark on, says Mobaro CEO Henrik Have

“However, now that we have helped ‘demystify’ the process through more than 150 park and attraction implementations, it is so encouraging to see the genuine interest from attraction pros who just want to get started.”

Global presence

The largest family-owned company in the US, Herschend Family Entertainment, recently joined the rising number of US attractions that have started using digital operations, maintenance, and safety. Other well-known companies like Pyek Group, SeaWorld, Hersheypark, Baha Mar, and Pacific Park have started benefiting from utilising the software firm’s systems.

Establishing a close relationship between ride operations and maintenance has seen increasing adoption from the industry in recent years thanks to vast improvements in digital technology. With so many alternatives for boosting their setup, attractions sometimes struggle to decide which path to go down when it comes to automating essential activities.

Don’t waste time

Parks and attractions director David Bromilow says that now, more than ever, attractions are realising the importance of digitizing: “Our main message to them is to choose wisely a future-proof solution. Implementing a system takes time and resources, and if you wind up with a platform that does not cut it, then that time is not only wasted. The repercussions could put a dent in your attraction’s means of delivering high-quality operations, safety and maintenance services.

“At Mobaro, we offer both continuous guidance and bespoke tools for ‘solving the daily puzzle’ at our clients’ attractions. For example, with the RideOps app serving as a strong connection between management, maintenance, and ride operations, they can handle safety and quality with unprecedented precision, overview, and efficiency.”

Mobaro now provides service to more than 150 attractions throughout the world thanks to several recent portfolio expansions. Visitors to the trade event can speak with staff at IAAPA Expo on booth #4571 to learn how Mobaro is assisting attractions in North America.
