Mobaro, a provider of online maintenance and safety solutions, has announced a new partnership with a unique European chain of strawberry-themed amusement park locations.
Karls Erlebnisdorf, which translates as Karl’s Adventure Village, is built on strong family values relating to the tradition of farming. The company has operated for over a century and is now benefitting from the completion of Mobaro’s latest software implementation.
With a number of locations found throughout Germany, Karls guests enjoy a colourful berry farming atmosphere accompanied by a range of family-friendly rides and cosy upcycling-inspired accommodation.
A multi-facet tool
The company’s five park locations were in need of a new system to monitor mechanical ride safety, maintenance, and park operations. Mobaro were the chosen provider for their enhanced overview and management software.
Group Manager Parks & Events Jörg Vogt says “We wanted a tool that helps us to improve the maintenance of our rides and attractions. With Mobaro, we have more efficient tasking and tracking of tasks, we get the real-time overview of the operational status and not least, timely and adequate maintenance of our attractions.”
Just the beginning
The initial application by Mobaro at Karls Erlebnisdorf has been focused on ride maintenance, with a wider aim to use most of the system’s functions within the rest of the facility and other attractions in the group.
By using the system in as many areas as required, Karls will receive a centralised overview from Mobaro’s versatile reporting engine within the platform.
Whilst the ride maintenance function forms the core of Mobaro’s package, the broader scope of the application includes park-wide maintenance and operations, such as food and beverage, as well as a strategic corporate overview.
Vogt adds “We have Mobaro in full use for the maintenance teams across all five parks and are currently implementing it in other areas. We look forward to using it across our departments.”
Mobaro will give Karls instant access to the data it requires to gain a full in-depth overview of each of its branches, surpassing large geographical distances.
Last month Mobaro announced that Marah Rodriguez would become its new vice president for the US market.
