Panasonic reveals agenda for virtual LBE event

Event will explore the possibilities created by the latest attractions technologies

Panasonic Business, a leading audiovisual technology provider, has announced more details ahead of its online event for the themed entertainment sector, reCREATE, reLIVE, reLAUNCH, which will be taking place on 31 March.

The event will be looking at how operators can build tomorrow’s attractions with today’s technology, giving them a chance to get ahead of the competition with exclusive insights into the latest attractions technology and trends.

The agenda for the online event features thought leaders from across the location-based entertainment industry.

Event agenda revealed

The event kicks off at 3 pm CET with a warm welcome from the Panasonic team, who will begin with an overview of the latest trends, presented by Hartmut Kulessa, Marketing Manager, Panasonic.

Following this, Joe Conover, Manager Live Events, Panasonic USA and Brian Allen, Vice President of Technology, Illuminarium Experiences will lead a session entitled: “Illuminariums: Building an immersive experience spectacle”. This will look at how to create communal, connective entertainment for a shared human experience.

In a session called “How to wow your audience – Technologies to create immersive experiences”, Thomas Vertommen, Product Marketing Manager, Panasonic and Ben Mitchell, System Engineer Space Creation, Panasonic will explore how the options available for designing immersive attractions, including UST lens technologies and more.

Mitchell and Vertommen will also lead a session called “Pushing the boundaries of visual experience” which will discuss how technology is evolving and take a look at the potential offered by 3D systems.

For those wanting to discover more about real-time projection mapping, Paul Boyland, Media Entertainment Business Division, Panasonic will talk about the creative possibilities provided by the company’s new mapping technology in the “Real-Time Tracking Projection-Mapping System” session.

Forum discussion

After these sessions, attendees can enjoy a themed entertainment and attractions industry forum, where they will be able to discuss and debate the topics covered throughout the webinar. Speakers include:

  • Stephane Bataille, CEO, Alterface
  • Thomas Vertommen, Product Marketing Manager, Panasonic
