Powersoft, the Italian amplifier specialist, has updated its fixed-install product range with the addition of AES67-compatible versions for its Duecanali and Quattrocanali amplifier platforms.
The new models, the Duecanali 804 DSP+, 1604 DSP+, 4804 DSP+ and 6404 DSP+, and Quattrocanali 1204 DSP+, 2404 DSP+, 4804 DSP+ and 8804 DSP+ are able to receive audio-over-IP (AoIP) streams which allow for high-performance streaming AoIP interoperability across various networking systems.
The new amplifiers will be supported by the latest version of ArmoníaPlus, Powersoft’s dedicated system design, control and monitoring software, which is now available for clients.
Streamlining configuration
Powersoft product management specialist Giorgio Carminati states that the new DSP+ models will allow systems integrators to benefit from the growing number of AES67-native audio products, whilst the ArmoníaPlus v2.4 update will streamline configuration by allowing users to amend both the AES67 inputs and DSP settings of the amplifiers within the same software.
All Powersoft amplifiers comprising a Dante card, such as the Duecanali DSP+D and Quattrocanali DSP+D models, can be configured to work with AES67 audio streams by enabling AES67 with ArmoníaPlus or the Dante Controller.

The two-channel Duecanali series from Powersoft is suitable for more extensive installed sound reinforcement systems whilst providing low power consumption for operators. The series also features heat dissipation, premium audio quality and reliable performance in a compact, lightweight unit.
Quattrocanali is perfect for small- to medium-size installations, where flexibility is essential. The system comes with four channels, Lo-Z and 70V/100V distributed lines as well as low operating costs. All Duecanali and Quattrocanali DSP+ and DSP+D models also benefit from high-tech built-in signal processing.
