Raven Sun Creative, the transformational experience firm, has announced that its principal and chief creative officer, Louis Alfieri, will participate in a discussion on the Metaverse and LBE at TEA SATE Europe 2022. The conference will be taking place at Liseberg amusement park in Gothenburg, Sweden, from 4 – 7 May.
On 4 May from 11 am to 2.30 pm CEST, Alfieri will join a panel of industry experts for a session entitled “Why Would I Be Thinking about the Metaverse?”
Exploring the Metaverse
This deep-dive discussion of the Metaverse and the role it might play in the LBE sector will also feature Lesley Morisetti, director of Morisetti Associates, Martin Howe, CEO of Dapper Labs Ltd. and David Andrade, co-founder of Theory Studios. The session will explore the role location-based experience and immersive culture industry has to play in the development of the Metaverse.
“The Metaverse is still largely in a nascent, aspirational stage, which is why it’s important to get involved now,” says Alfieri.
“We are in the process of discovering what’s possible, separating the hype from reality, and defining what we really want for our future. It’s vitally important that the thinkers and organizations from our industry step up and actively engage in the realization of the Metaverse.”
Alfieri is a frequent key speaker at industry events around the world. This year, he has addressed the topic of the Metaverse and its potential for visitor destinations at both SXSW and the Casino Esport Conference (CEC). He will continue to explore the subject with audiences at events throughout 2022 and 2023, as well as through the Raven Sun Creative blog and video series.
Earlier this month, Raven Sun Creative shared that Alfieri would be returning as a judge for this year’s The Themed Attraction Student Showcase. He is also supporting themed entertainment students at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Savannah, Georgia, US, and has been mentoring students in a virtual capacity throughout April and May.
