Integrated feature sets a new standard for the attractions industry

ROLLER, the ticketing, CRM and POS specialist, has announced the launch of a groundbreaking new feature, Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering.

This innovation will allow visitors to place an order at their table using a QR code. The development of this feature was driven by ROLLER’s in-depth knowledge of the evolving standards for online and self-service experiences and establishes a new benchmark for the attractions industry.

Game-changing feature

The post-pandemic world has seen an unprecedented move towards self-service and contactless interactions, which has required businesses to evolve their processes. ROLLER recognises this shift and is at the leading edge of providing solutions that enable businesses to capitalise on technological advances. Self-service is no longer a luxury, but rather the new normal.

Contactless menus and payments are now widely used, with 52% of all American restaurants now using QR code menus. F&B sales have grown to be a significant source of revenue for attractions, which makes this feature a key addition to ROLLER’s range. With an increase in both spend per head and the amount of visitor data collected, mobile ordering is a trend that is expected to last.

Luke Finn, CEO and founder at ROLLER, says: “ROLLER is dedicated to staying at the forefront of innovation in an age where technology is shaping how guests interact with attractions. Our new Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering feature is a testament to our commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions that help our customers grow their businesses and enable them to meet the changing demands of their guests.”

ROLLER’s new Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering feature was created to assist operators in providing guests with an outstanding experience while saving time and increasing spend. It reduces queues at the counter and allows venue operators to cut costs when staffing their cafe or restaurant. This new feature is integrated directly into ROLLER’s venue management platform, removing the need for a separate tool and ensuring an easy and efficient process.

Dan Watkins, owner of Gold Coast Wake Park, a ROLLER client which is using the feature, comments: “We’re thrilled to partner with ROLLER and adopt their Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering feature. It’s a game-changer for us at Gold Coast Wake Park, as it not only saves us valuable time but also caters to our guests’ preferences. Whether they want to order from the counter or from their mobile devices, this technology has truly elevated our guest experience.”

ROLLER recently announced that it has raised US$50m in its latest funding round, led by worldwide software investor Insight Partners.
