SSA Group, a best-in-class provider of integrated guest services, has announced that its partner entity SSA Ventures has become the majority shareholder of Centegra, a leading technology supplier for the hospitality industry.
Following this acquisition, Centegra will collaborate with SSA Ventures company Cinchio Solutions to offer market-leading digital services bundles to the hospitality and multi-use venue sectors.
This acquisition is in line with growing ties in the US and reflects Centegra’s sustained performance and leadership in the market, with a current volume of over 5 million transactions every month.
Tom Bell, founder and CEO of Centegra, will lead the firm’s collaborative efforts with Cinchio Solutions’ existing presence in the US hospitality and multi-use venue industries.
Bell says: “Cinchio and Centegra, for the first time, enables enterprises to realise the dream of a technology stack offering a Single Pane of Glass with a Single Point of Service. We are looking forward to an exciting period of growth in the UK as brands and operators discover the power of this offering, the opportunities it creates, and the efficiencies it unlocks.
“Combining Cinchio’s Kiosk, Remote Ordering, Guest Engagement and Insights with Centegra Plus’s Enterprise, Inventory, Revenue, Time Clock and Kitchen Management under one platform is hugely exciting.”
Driving innovation in the hospitality sector
Cinchio Solutions continues its sister company SSA Group’s five-decade-long tradition of collaborating with iconic and cultural attractions in the US, shaping the future of innovation in hospitality. Its digital platform helps operators streamline processes, minimise staff requirements, and improve guest experiences. The platform seamlessly interacts with kiosk and smartphone solutions to offer visitors self-service options.
Jon Horsfield, CRO of Centegra, comments: “Building on our award-winning track record in supporting clients within an ever-evolving tech landscape, we are now positioned to offer the single point of contact for all technology needs in hospitality and multi-use venues.”
Last month, SSA Group became the first corporate member of the Aquarium Conservation Partnership (ACP). The ACP brings together leading aquariums and zoos across the US and aims to improve ocean health through programmes that minimise plastic waste, protect marine ecosystems and wildlife, and encourage sustainable practices.
