Popular ride now features Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl theming

Blackpool’s Pleasure Beach has unveiled new additions to its Wallace & Gromit’s Thrill-O-Matic ride inspired by the 2024 film, Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl.

One of the UK theme park‘s most popular attractions, Wallace & Gromit’s Thrill-O-Matic now includes Norbot, the smart gnome from the film, as well as Feathers McGraw.

Pleasure Beach has also added new props and set pieces to the ride, updated the queue line, and introduced new merchandise to the Wallace & Gromit shop.

The park has been working closely with Wallace & Gromit creator Aardman, the award-winning UK studio, which provided the original models used in Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl.

These were then 3D scanned and brought to life for the Thrill-O-Matic ride by Pleasure Beach’s in-house creative department.

Once the characters were installed in the attraction, the team’s AV technicians added the final touches; programming the lights, sounds and special effects.

Amanda Thompson, CEO of Pleasure Beach Resort, said the new additions “give the ride more character than ever”.

She said, “It’s been a joy working so closely with Aardman once again to bring the characters of Vengeance Most Fowl to life, alongside the incredible craftsmanship of our in-house team.

“The additions bring even more humour, charm and adventure to the ride, and we know fans young and old are going to love spotting the new characters along the way.”

Blackpool Pleasure Beach has been busy of late, recently reopening its reimagined Launch Pad ride and then broadcasting messages from space.

Additionally, the park has announced a new £8.72 million attraction called Aviktas for 2026, set to be the UK’s tallest swinging pendulum ride.
