Join us on Wednesday 22nd June at 5.30pm BST | 9.30am PDT to hear from ECA as they explore theme park trends worldwide. Blooloop and ECA will also be launching a new joint project.

Charles Read, blooloop MD, will be joined by Edward Shaw, founding Principal at ECA and Matthew Earnest, Principal at ECA.

Shaw and Earnest will examine the future of theme parks as they look at current and upcoming projects from around the world.

They will then introduce an exciting new collaboration between Blooloop and ECA.

Entertainment + Culture Advisors (ECA) is a global advisory firm that is focused on strategy, market analysis, feasibility and business planning for destination entertainment and cultural developments. Founded in 2010, the company has worked in over 30 countries on over 1,000 projects, from theme parks to live event venues.

Matthew Earnest ECA
Matthew Earnest

Matthew Earnest has worked on projects across North America, Europe, Middle East, South America and Southeast and East Asia. Before co-founding ECA, he worked at AECOM where he advised clients on economic and financial planning issues.

Earnest has a B.S. from Stanford University and M.B.A. from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and is an active member of IAAPA, TEA and the Urban Land Institute.

Ed Shaw

Edward Shaw has also worked on projects around the world, and he focuses on lead strategic positioning, business potential and project feasibility analyses for entertainment-driven projects. He helps to develop, sell and present client-focused, customized economic and business planning analyses. He worked for AECOM before ECA as a Senior Associate.

Shaw has a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Yale University and an M.S. in Sports Business – Finance and Development from New York University.
