Future guests of Epic Universe can now plan their trip

An interactive map of Epic Universe is now available on the Universal Orlando app ahead of the new theme park’s debut on 22 May.

Across its five themed worlds, Epic Universe will house some of the most high-tech, immersive and thrilling experiences ever seen in a theme park.

Future guests of Epic Universe can now plan their trip via the app, or just get a look at the layout of the park, viewing rides, dining outlets, and even bathrooms.

After downloading or clicking on the app, users can scroll to the bottom of the homepage for a button labelled ‘map’.

Once they tap it, they will see the three existing parks. However, if they click the dropdown menu or scroll to the left, they’ll spot Epic Universe.

After selecting Epic Universe, users will see the new park’s rides and attractions, as well as the main pages for the five worlds.

These are: Celestial Park, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, and Dark Universe.

By tapping on any one of these world’s main pages, guests can see information on dining options, attractions, shopping and more.

The app can also be used to filter the entire park to show only child-friendly options, for example, meaning parents can avoid accidentally taking their toddlers to meet the monsters in Dark Universe.

At the top left of the page, users can find a dropdown menu that provides more filter options such as guest amenities.

Earlier this month, Universal Orlando released a new video that shows off the resort’s upcoming status as a four-park destination.

This came after the resort released “portal teasers” for Epic’s themed lands, and later the next phase of tickets and packages for the park.
