Ferrari World Abu Dhabi Unveils Record-Breaking Flying Aces Coaster

News

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, currently the world's largest indoor theme park, is celebrating the opening of its brand new record-breaking roller coaster, Flying Aces.

Featuring state-of-the-art technology, the ride boasts the world’s tallest loop at 52m and steepest and fastest cable lift incline at 51 degrees.

Mohamed Al Zaabi, CEO of Miral Asset Management described the new attraction as ‘an architectural masterpiece’ and said the gravity-defying coaster would offer guests a ‘one-of-a-kind’ experience.

He was joined at the special launch event by HE Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority where they were treated to a demonstration of aerial stunts performed by a XIII SPAD bi-plane.

The bi-plane themed roller coaster promises a 135-second thrill ride journey that reaches 120kmph along a 1.5km track. The ride has been designed to mimic extreme gravity-defying flight acrobatics (including a non-inverted loop), rapid twists and turns.
