Amusement park operator Golden Heaven Group Holdings Ltd. has been granted land use rights for a plot at Yunhe Sanwan Scenic Spot in Yangzhou, China, where the company plans to develop a recreation and amusement complex. The attraction is expected to begin commercial operations in October 2024.
Yunhe Sanwan Scenic Spot is near China’s Grand Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the oldest and longest man-made waterway on the planet. As a location of historical and cultural significance, the destination attracts a high volume of tourists.
The plot spans approximately 26,000 square meters, and the land use rights granted by Yangzhou Lemandi Tourism Development and Investment Co., Ltd. will enable Golden Heaven to install cutting-edge amusement rides to expand the park’s offer.
Continued partnership
This is the second attraction to be developed in partnership between Golden Heaven and Nanping City Dacheng Culture Communication Co., Ltd.
Earlier this month, Golden Heaven and Dacheng Culture embarked on a one-year collaboration agreement. Under this agreement, Golden Heaven will lease specific land and assets to Dacheng Culture for use in traditional costume photography, celebratory events, and wedding photography. Dacheng Culture will pay an aggregate lease payment of RMB1.2m over the agreement’s one-year term.
Jin Xu, CEO and chairman of Golden Heaven, says: “We are thrilled to have obtained the land use rights for this plot within the Yunhe Sanwan Scenic Spot. Located in a bustling area of Yangzhou with beautiful surroundings and high foot traffic, it is an ideal destination for tourists, families and young couples. Our goal is to create an amusement park that seamlessly integrates entertainment and leisure experiences with a variety of cultural activities.
“The continued partnership with Dacheng Culture is a testament to the win-win alliance between two industry leaders. By synergizing the unique advantages, resources and innovative capabilities of both sides, we will not only enhance the cultural depth and entertainment value of our park but also expand our market influence. We look forward to working with Dacheng Culture to write a new chapter for the cultural tourism and leisure entertainment industry of the city.”
