IAAPA, the global association for the attractions industry, is celebrating the launch of IAAPA Expo 2023, which officially opened to visitors at the Orange County Convention Center yesterday.
IAAPA Expo, the world’s largest event of its type, welcomes industry professionals from all over the world to present the latest technologies, share ideas, and explore emerging opportunities in the attractions and amusements industry.
With a sold-out trade show floor featuring 1,147 exhibitors spanning more than 550,000 square feet of display space that will feature cutting-edge technology, rides, and experiences that promise to revolutionise the industry, this year’s IAAPA Expo is expected to be an unparalleled event.
Michael Shelton, executive director and vice president of IAAPA North America, says: “The incredible demand for exhibition space at IAAPA Expo 2023 captures the seriousness of the industry and the dedication to constantly reinvent itself. Electric atmosphere
Ahead of the exhibit floor’s opening at 10 am, guests gathered for an incredible Opening Ceremony in the Simtec Systems, Inc. sponsored IAAPA Theatre. This launch event established the tone for the IAAPA Expo programme, gave insight into the significance of the upcoming week, and featured a variety of high-energy entertainment. Shelton encouraged delegates to “explore the entire nine miles of show floor aisles and the numerous education opportunities Expo offers.”
Innovation is at the heart of the Expo, with exhibitors and leaders in the sector stretching the limits of what’s possible in the attractions industry.
