Imagine Leisure hosts conference on leisure and real estate

Imagine Leisure, a leading leisure consultant, is hosting the first conference on leisure and real estate, taking place in the Netherlands this September.

Imagine LeisureImagine Leisure is pleased to be hosting the conference, which is organised by Vastgoedjournaal. It is taking place on the 26th of September at the Dutch Formula 1 circuit of Zandvoort, a popular visitor destination that will host the Formula 1 in 2020.

As well as hosting, Imagine Leisure will be giving an introductory presentation, where it will give attendees an insight into the leisure industry and the synergy it helps to create fro real estate operations.

During the conference, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about how leisure develops and where opportunities can arise. The program will also look at what the most common difficulties are, and how to overcome them, from the perspective of experts in the industry.

Leisure and real estate

The event features many notable guests from both the leisure and real estate industries. Robert van Overdijk, CEO of the Zandvoort circuit where the conference is held, will discuss recent developments at the attraction, as well as taking a look at its future.

Dirk Lips, owner of Libéma, the biggest operator group in the Netherlands and Rene Sleven, regional manager of Merlin Entertainments will be speaking to delegates about the leisure business, as well as the challenges and ambitions of their own operations.

Other guests, including Teun Koek, project director of the Mall of The Netherlands, and Peter Mulder, CEO of Meyer Bergman, which owns and develop heritage sites, will be exploring the topic from the real estate perspective. In addition, several other topics will be examined during the conference, such as taxation, collaboration and regional ambitions.

Earlier in the year, Imagine Leisure announced a project to establish a new visitor destination at TT Circuit Assen, in order to attract visitors to the race circuit all year round. At IAAPA Expo Europe, the company also launched a brand new online platform, which allows people to explore the company’s work and stay updated on their latest news and projects.
