JRA, part of RWS Entertainment Group, has announced the appointment of Sam Xu to its business development team, as the leading experience designer continues to expand in Asia-Pacific. This strategic new hire sees the former Thinkwell Group director joining JRA as a Beijing-based senior business development leader and account manager.
Before joining JRA, Xu was in a similar position with Thinkwell and has also previously worked in the business development area for Kingsmen Beijing Co., Ltd. and Fu Expo, Beijing.
Raising the profile of JRA in the region
Over the course of his career, Xu has worked with well-known brands and leading attractions, such as Universal Beijing, Oriental Pearl Tower Park, and Sunac Hangzhou Bay Theme Park
With JRA, he will serve as the face of the company in the Asia-Pacific region, with a focus on the attraction, tourism, leisure, hospitality, retail and municipalities markets in the area. Xu’s responsibilities will include driving growth in B2B experiences, master planning, design, project management, events, productions and services to organizations. He will also work to raise the profile of JRA.

JRA is in the midst of its biggest year ever, with three dozen current projects in design and development around the globe. The company is a subsidiary of RWS Entertainment Group (RWS), a creator of award-winning custom entertainment. RWS is also expanding its global presence and recently announced it has acquired ted, an AV, fitness and custom merchandise company.
