Picsolve Announce 400, 000 Registered Users for Digital Product Suite

News

Picsolve, the leading image capture partner for the leisure and entertainment industry, has announced user figures for its digital product suite.

400, 000 people have registered for Picsolve’s digital portal which has been rolled out to over 100 attractions worldwide.

Picsolve’s cutting edge digital product suite, the result of three years investment and development, allows guests to access images immediately and is available in 13 languages and with an intuitive native app.  A new responsive design unveiled in 2013 makes it even easier for consumers to access images via their mobile devices; an innovation that has been well received as now half of all users use their mobiles compared to just 25% last year.

The digital platform has also been designed to support Picsolve’s partners’ brands with links back to their websites.

New trends in internet behaviour are driving consumer demand for sharing experiences in real time – there has been growth of 90% in people sharing images through social media.  Picsolve now has a combined reach of over 15 million people through social media channels with every shared images reaching on average seven of the guests friends and family.  This ‘social awareness amplification’ is a key component of Picsolve’s product and has been shown to enhance the guest’s experience and generate repeat visits.

Commenting on the success of Picsolve’s digital product suite, Baz Slatter, Global Business Development Director, said, “We are now seeing half of all users downloading their images via mobile devices.  With the numbers of those then choosing to share images via social media experiencing 90% growth in the last year we expect to see this behaviour as commonplace by 2015.

“Consumer behaviour is definitely driving our product roadmap.  When I joined Picsolve from Microsoft three and a half years ago, I was interested to see the relatively low level of consumer fulfilment for connectivity within attractions.  We’re now seeing that is being resolved, especially over the last 12 months, however with this comes the responsibility to provide the associated platforms to let constantly connected consumers share experiences in real time.

“As a result, solutions such as Picsolve’s digital platform allow guests to share experiences easily and behave in the same way they would elsewhere [in normal life]. In providing appropriate solutions Picsolve helps brands increase guest satisfaction and its involvement also acts as catalyst for increased gate sales.”
