The firm’s new video presents the talent behind the scenes

Sim Leisure Group, a leading designer, developer, operator, and builder of theme parks, waterparks, and other themed leisure attractions, has released a video introducing its growing design team.

Sim Leisure has been a leader in themed construction for over three decades, and now the company’s advancing design team is pushing the boundaries of imagination and innovation. Sim Leisure’s proven success in fabricating and constructing immersive environments gives it a unique edge, meaning it can produce designs that aren’t just creative; they’re also technically sound and buildable.

Meet the team

This video introduces the talented team at Sim Leisure. It shows how their big ideas are crafted into unforgettable themed experiences, blending creativity with state-of-the-art technology to bring visions to life.

The firm says the design team is made up of “a melting pot of minds with exceptional visions and big brains.” It goes on to explain that it searched for “creative souls with a quirky edge.”

Team members include Karen Stojanovski, head of design and operations; Yassine Maali, design project manager; Robby Rose, design manager; Razvan Leontescu, senior architect; Mark Baniqued, senior architect; Dhanesh Kalarikkal, BIM manager; Ali Mohammed, BIM coordinator; and Ahmed Mohammed, technical creative.

Earlier this year, Sim Leisure Group celebrated 15 years of designing and building snow parks and shared insights with blooloop on overcoming the interesting challenges that these projects present. Sim Leisure has successfully executed design and construction projects for the leading snow and ski resorts in the Middle East, including Ski Dubai, Ski Egypt, Snow Oman, Snow Abu Dhabi, and, most recently, the theming design for a significant new snow attraction in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Last year, the company announced the opening of a new office in the US as it continues to expand its design and build offer. Wesley Rae, chief operating officer, and Josie Booth, managing director, spoke to blooloop about the move.
