THG, a creative agency specialising in developing attractions for theme parks, museums and brands, has announced that it is opening a new office location in Orlando, Florida. In addition to the company’s head office in Pasadena, this new location will allow THG’s team to continue to grow and thrive, now in an East Coast themed entertainment hub.
Situated in Southpark Circle, the recently established office is close to some of Orlando’s most captivating and thrilling attractions. THG Creative and its staff have extensive experience working at some of the biggest theme parks in the world, including Orlando.
With this new office, THG will be able to better connect and work collaboratively with its partners and clients in the region, and the firm is looking forward to growing its existing partnerships and welcoming new relationships. It will support its existing Orlando-based team and continue to attract new team members from the amazing talent pool Orlando offers, building a team culture centred around community and collaboration.
Enabling more collaboration
In order to realise its aim of creating unique experiences, the company says it is eager for the Orlando office to grow as a community and collaborate harmoniously with the Pasadena team, as well as colleagues worldwide.
THG will also work to establish a connection with the people and neighbourhoods of Orlando, in addition to its professional objectives. The Pasadena office has a long history of assisting local schools and organisations in educating children about the arts, design, creative development, and job opportunities in themed entertainment, and the company plans to build similar relationships in Orlando.
Erik Neergaard, chief creative officer and partner, says:
“There’s no better place to open our second office than Orlando, and with an office on both coasts, we’ll be able to collaborate with our partners, clients, and team like never before. This city is truly a beacon for some of the best themed experiences in the world, setting new standards for our industry. It constantly serves as inspiration for us at THG. Orlando has played an important role in my career and the careers of so many here at THG Creative and we look forward to continuing our work here.”
Rani Bal, vice president of people, adds:
“Orlando allows us to support our incredible Orlando team and invite some of the biggest and brightest talent in our industry to join our team here at THG Creative. Building a sense of culture and unique identity in our teams is vitally important to us, and I’m looking forward to working with the team to grow our community here, alongside our Pasadena office and our team members around the world.”
THG recently announced the promotion of William Alton Ortega to executive creative director, senior director of design.
