The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the entire visitor attractions industry, from operators to suppliers. Many operators are now working with a smaller budget. Despite the challenges faced during this time, Triotech made sure to keep its creative minds within the business.

This led to the creation of Hyper Ride, a dark ride with a smaller footprint and budget. It provides ‘destination park level experiences’ to smaller venues, such as regional parks, FECs, tourist sites and more. These locations cannot normally afford the larger dark rides that are found in major theme parks. Ernest Yale began developing video games whilst in school, and it was this passion and entrepreneurial spirit that led him to found Triotech in 1999. Since then, the company has grown from an arcade video game developer to an award-winning designer and manufacturer of media-based digital interactive attractions.

He still maintains an active role in Triotech, developing new technology, product design, sales and marketing. Over 25 million people each year experience a Triotech ride. The company currently has more than 400 attractions in over 70 countries.

Yale was listed as a Blooloop Top 50 Theme Park Influencer in 2018, 2019 and 2021.
