Casino Park is an amusement park located in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

The amusement park, which bills itself as a ‘Family Fun and Sun Resort’, stands on a 300 foot long pier which extends out into the Atlantic Ocean and although most of the amusement park’s attractions are located right on the pier itself, there are additional attractions located on the nearby boardwalk too.

On the pier itself, the amusement park features 38 rides which include 4 roller coasters – Star Jet, Wild Mouse, Hot Tamales – which is for younger children and Pirate’s Hideaway which is the latest roller coaster at the amusement park where riders get to hurtle along at great speed into complete darkness.  There are also plenty of other family rides and rides specifically geared towards young children.

Another great feature of the amusement park is its Skyride which runs the entire length of the boardwalk and there’s also a rooftop miniature golf course and a go-kart track.

Other attractions at the amusement park include an antique carousel that actually celebrates its centenary this year (2010), an arcade featuring many old classic arcade games together with the latest technologically advanced games and there are plenty of other games of skill and chance for you to enjoy.

In 2003, the amusement park also incorporated Jenkinson’s Breakwater Beach Water Park into its list of attractions. This acquisition was originally called the Water Works water park but since 2003, it has continually been remodelled with new attractions being added to it each year. It features a number of water slides including the Zero Gravity Racer – a 6 lane racing slide and its Lazy Crazy River with a twist. On the ‘lazy river’ at this particular amusement park, you’ll experience cannons being fired, bubbles swirling all around you and depth charges which fire water at you from all angles.

The emphasis on this part of the amusement park is very much on families and it’s the amusement park’s intention to keep adding new elements each year to make it the ‘best water park on the Jersey Shore’.
