Animation studio Red Star have announced a new partnership to distribute their 3D film content into visitor attractions. Under the deal announced 15th February brand management company THE JUICE will act as exclusive worldwide distributor of Red Star’s upcoming films DRACULA 4D and SLEIGH RIDE and will produce and market branded merchandise for the films.

The Juice is formed from a partnership between James Brocklehurst and Pauline Quayle. James Brocklehurst was formerly Red Star’s Sales and Marketing Director and joined the company after a successful career running an architectural visualisation studio. Pauline Quayle has significant experience in the toy industry with branded goods, licensed products and in the premium and promotional sector working with many blue chip companies.

Red Star’s debut film THE CURSE OF SKULL ROCK has been played in visitor attractions worldwide and has won two international awards for Best Children’s Animation. The Juice will be exclusively responsible for marketing Red Star’s upcoming 3D film release DRACULA 4D; a thrilling new 3D/4D show that brings the internationally recognized Dracula brand to visitor attractions for the first time. The film is a spooky action comedy suitable for the whole family and is the perfect 3D/4D show for the Halloween season as well as a guaranteed all year round favourite. Red Star’s next 3D/4D show will be SLEIGH RIDE, a hilarious action comedy themed for the Christmas season and distributed exclusively by The Juice, who will also manage Red Star’s existing catalogue of 3D film content, including the award winning THE CURSE OF SKULL ROCK. Red Star and The Juice are also in development on another 3D/4D show for the summer 2011 season based on a major international branded character.

The Juice will bring to market lines of merchandise themed to all Red Star’s 3D films. Commenting on the connection James Brocklehurst said “By providing venues with exclusive merchandise products tied into Red Star’s fantastic 3D film content we’re providing a complete solution that makes any 3D or 4D theatre a key revenue earning branded attraction.”

Red Star’s director Ben Smith said “We have listened carefully to the requirements of the attractions industry and we’ve developed seasonal films, branded films and films that fully utilise the 4D and “5D” motion effects popular in venues right now. By adding branded merchandise we think we’ve got a winning combination for meeting the needs of venues worldwide!”
