Unique in every way!

The Family Entertainment Center is called “Skemmtigardurinn” and is located in Smaralind Shopping Center, the largest mall in Reykjavik. Skemmtigardurinn is unique in every way! The location, the theme, the leisure mix, … In short, this Icelandic project is one of a kind!

It has a surface of 2300m2 and includes two floors of excitement and fun! The lower floor has eye catchers like the first 360° Midi Dance Party in the world, the first 7D XD Dark Ride to be installed, Bumper cars, a Kids drop tower, a big softplay for kids and toddlers, a Comfyland Experience, etc… while the upper floor offers a lazertag area, video and redemption games, billiard tables, etc… ..

KCC has tailored the project and attraction mix for the unique Iceland market until the smallest detail! The Family Entertainment Center really caters for everyone, from toddler and kids till teenagers and adults

But not only the entertainment mix appeals to everyone! The whole family orientated leisure mix has been immersed in a marvelous jungle theme and was adapted to the unique Icelandic market!

Grand Opening!

Seven months after KCC entertainment Design started to design, the project had its Grand Opening. The proud owners Mrs. Ingibjörg Guðmundsdóttir and Mr. Eythor Gudjonsson, who played one of the main roles in the block buster movie Hostel (produced by Quentin Tarentino) opened the project during a highly attended Grand Opening on November the 11th , together with the Minister of Industry and Tourism.

This exceptional event was broadcasted live on national television in Iceland! On Saturday November the 12th the entertainment center was opened for the public and it has been a success from the first minute it opened its doors!

While this is yet another success of the KCC Team we continue to create with enthusiasm many exciting projects of which some will open in the near future.

For us that’s entertainment!
