Park Guests Can Save on Advance Purchase of Admission
InComm Canada, the leader in sales and marketing of prepaid products and innovator of transaction processing, has signed an exclusive agreement with Canada’s Wonderland to launch prepaid admission ticket products at select Shoppers Drug Mart and Mac’s Convenience stores in the Greater Toronto area during the 2010 summer season. Capitalizing on InComm’s history of success, Canada’s Wonderland is looking forward to maximizing its customer exposure while increasing profitability.
InComm will initially be launching three products including a Single-Day pass, a 2-Day pass, and Junior/Senior passes. The Single Day ticket is a discounted product which allows a park guest to purchase their admission ahead of time while saving up to $14. The team plans to launch an additional product in the fall which will allow a guest to participate in Halloween-themed evenings in October.
"We are excited to partner with a premiere theme park like Canada’s Wonderland, " said Brian Parlotto, Senior Vice President of Consumer Products and International. "InComm is committed to being the leader within the prepaid industry, and opportunities like this allow us to create a value proposition for both our product and retail partners and their customers that is unrivaled in the category today."
"Partnering with InComm is an excellent opportunity for us, " said Dave Phillips, Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Canada’s Wonderland. "Leveraging InComm’s top tier retail relationships and distribution network along with their proven brand leadership will give us the ability to significantly expand the availability of our ticketcard products and capture the attention of new customers."
Just in time for the kickoff to the summertime season, the retailers will be making a special merchandising push around the ticketcard products. Mac’s Convenience Stores will highlight their offerings with an exclusive display at the cash counters.
