Mirage Entertainment & OCT Group’s Win-Win-Cooperation: OCT Hike — Children’s Professional Experience City

Just in time for Chinese New Year, 2011, Mirage Entertainment is pleased to announce a design agreement with OCT Group in China, for “OCT Hike – Children’s Professional Experience City”, a 47, 000 square foot indoor children’s park (to be located in a popular commercial complex), where kids can role play in various career professions.

Over two years of negotiations, and previous experience with the “Baby Boss City” park in Taipei, Mirage has established itself with OCT as a world leader in this high concept genre of “creative edutainment” attraction.  Today, Children’s Professional City parks of this type draw much interest from parents (eager to provide a fun, yet career-oriented play experience for their children) and investors, alike. 

With a series of popular theme parks (including Happy Valley, Windows of the World, Splendid China, and China Folk Culture Village) in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Chengdu, OCT Group is the largest tourism company and one of the most influential real estate companies in China.  With this design agreement, U.S. based Mirage continues a long-established relationship of mutual cooperation with the tourist industry giant.

“OCT Hike is scheduled to open in October, 2011, with Mirage acting as a total solution provider for the venue, from the conceptual design stage to final operations, including hardware to software integration, information technology, marketing, and sales consulting”.

OCT Hike in Shenzhen will represent the first of six such attractions by OCT Group in China, and Mirage Entertainment is poised to work closely on each over the coming years.  The franchise plans to open Chengdu and Wuhan parks in 2012.
