WhiteWater, a leading waterpark manufacturer, has announced the release of the Splash Factor Report, based on a survey of over 100 parks across the world.
WhiteWater is pleased to announce the release of this new report, which provides readers with an in-depth understanding of emerging trends in the water ride market. The Splash Factor Report is based on a survey of over 100 parks around the globe and was compiled using a quantitative research methodology.
The report explores the water ride offers at these parks, in order to create an industry benchmark and explore some of the latest trends in the sector.
Some of the notable findings of the report include:
- Three out of four parks have not optimised their water rides to their full potential
- One in five parks do not have a water ride, despite it being a classic experience
- Medium and small-sized parks are generally missing out on the opportunity to offer a water ride experience, compared with larger and full-scale venues.
- Water rides are most valued for their iconic big splash, entertainment across age-groups, and the classic flume experience
The above is just a small sample of the report’s findings. The complete document provides the full survey findings, alongside expert insights into the emerging trends in the industry. Those wanting to read more can download the full report here.
Copies of the Splash Factor Report will also be available at IAAPA Expo Europe, from booth #2427 and booth #2727. The event takes place at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from the 17th – 19th September.
