Brogent Technologies Inc., a leading manufacturer of media-based attractions, has announced a new partnership with Hockenheimring to build an immersive virtual racing experience inside the racing track’s new Welcome Center, scheduled to open in April 2023.
The 6-DOF simulator will provide a realistic activity for guests to the renowned racing venue, delivering an experience closely matched to that felt by professionals.
“The partnership between Brogent’s world-class virtual racing simulator with a mini-LED dome screen and air blower, and the renowned race track Hockenheimring, will allow visitors to enjoy an unprecedented virtual racing experience with sophisticated motion simulation and a better visual experience – as if they were at a real race track,” says a Brogent representative.

As more motorsport fans and racers participate in internet virtual racing experiences, the market for VR racing has expanded throughout the epidemic, allowing practising to continue despite the lockdown. This trend has reached a level of popularity where even professional race tracks are looking to host on-site virtual racing events, engaging next-generation motorsport fans with the latest interactive technologies to provide the thrill of racing without the need for major investment or risk of injury.

More details of the premium racing simulator will be unveiled by Brogent at IAAPA Expo in Orlando, with the trade show taking place from 15-18 November 2022.
