Brogent miRide Flight Simulator

Brogent Technologies Inc., a leading manufacturer of media-based attractionshas outlined plans to continue collaborating with experienced LED manufacturers to deliver a range of state-of-the-art attractions for top parks and venues in the short and long-term. This will enable attractions around the world to substitute traditional projection and dome screens with customised double-curved LED displays.

These screen types provide audiences with an optimal viewing angle, producing peak levels of colour, brightness, and contrast while maintaining audio quality on par with a typical dome screen. Sound is able to travel through the screen and into every part of the theatre thanks to perforated LED panels. These upgrades remove all prior restrictions, and the flying experience is now more immersive than ever owing to vivid colours and up to 8k resolution for domes.

Fresh content

For flying theatres to be effective, they must also utilise high-calibre, diverse content in addition to cutting-edge technology. The flying theatre systems from Brogent have been designed with maximum content flexibility in mind, allowing operators to easily change their material and keep their audiences interested with new scenes.

While the films in the Legoland theme parks around the world are CGI-based and concentrate on the fun side of flight, Brogent’s projects at FlyOver standalone flying theatres have a history of providing realistic live-action panoramic flying experiences. Both have drawn countless numbers of tourists from all over the world.

“Media-based attraction technology changes at a fast pace,” says a representative. “Especially for the flying theatre realm, the industry puts much emphasis on the visual and the audio system. In recent years, show producers have been struggling with the restrictions of traditional cinematic projection: the requirement of the dark room, the inability to project true black colour, contrast and overall colour accuracy of the projection systems. To break through those limitations, Brogent Technologies has been looking for new ways to enhance the visual system.”

Computerised and aerial imagery

In order to expand the number of places where flying experiences are available, developing fresh and creative media material has become essential. In addition to working with specialist studios, Brogent has been making investments in developing cutting-edge media material, such as aerial filming and CGI. Brogent now has a variety of self-produced media content, and the quantity is expanding.

Real-time controlled simulators are transforming the gaming environment into an out-of-home experience, creating a whole new and distinct entertainment market that is also on the horizon. One of Brogent’s newest game-based rides, miRide, integrates motion programming and system integration into the world of sports.

The gaming experience is no longer limited to computers or mobile devices with the use of small 6DOF platforms – gamers can experience the thrill of every turn and bump in the circuit as if they were actually behind the wheel.

The most distinguishing feature of miRide is the ability of users to completely customise their journeys in accordance with the content of various games and specific requirements, creating a distinctive gaming atmosphere for varied locations and purposes. In this new industry, Brogent applies all of its motion programming skills to ensure a user-friendly experience that can fit in most interior areas.

Brogent Technologies will be at booths #4427 and #4227 at IAAPA Expo in Orlando. Appointments can be arranged in advance by email.
