RWS Global welcomes Lisa Jey Schanley to JRA

Business development and marketing expert will play a key role in the firm’s ongoing growth

RWS Global, a leading producer of live experiences, has announced that Lisa Jey Schanley has been appointed as director of business development at JRA.

Schanley is currently a member of the Themed Entertainment Association‘s Board of Directors, Western Division, and co-chairs the Communications Committee.

As director of business development, Schanley will play a key role in guiding the firm’s growth trajectory across a variety of markets and will lead the strategic development of an expanded range of offerings to suit both new and existing clients. Schanley brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role from more than 20 years of experience in business development, growth strategies, marketing, and public relations.

Business development & marketing expertise

Schanley formerly served as strategic account director, immersive experiences at HYPERVSN. Her experience also includes roles at Technomedia and Nassal, demonstrating her ability to drive business solutions, growth, and strategic partnerships.

Prior to entering the themed entertainment sector, Schanley founded a marketing, public relations, and events production agency, Jey Associates.  The firm represented actors, brands, and companies, while also producing red-carpet events and independent activations for almost 20 years. She has extensive experience as a celebrity talent executive and producer, and most recently contributed to a large-scale entertainment project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Schanley comments: “As a writer and artist, JRA has always satiated my love for story, design, artwork and creativity in any form. I have always admired the company’s work from the sidelines, but no longer! I am eager to collaborate with the incredibly talented team at JRA and to showcase the company’s unique vision and shining personality worldwide.”

Matt Dawson, vice president, JRA, says: “We are thrilled to welcome Lisa to the team. Her expertise, industry experience and robust network developed through her involvement in the Themed Entertainment Association will allow Lisa to play a leading role in continuing our growth trajectory at JRA.”

Earlier this year, RWS Global announced that Neil Palomba had been appointed as its new advisory board member to lead the growth of its sea division.
