Blooloop is pleased to reveal the Zoo & Aquarium influencer list for 2023. The list celebrates individuals from around the world who are leaders in the sector and recognises their efforts to innovate and positively impact global zoos and aquariums.

In association with our friends at PGAV, masterplanners of destination based experiences, the 2023 list saw hundreds of Zoo and Aquarium professionals nominate their peers, before being put to a panel of experienced judges. The end result is a list of 50 individuals whose work and achievements exemplify passion and dedication to the industry.

Charles Read, MD of blooloop, says, “With wildlife and our environment under increasing pressure from the impact of climate change and the loss of and degrading of habitats, the work that the best zoos and aquariums do has never been more important. We are pleased to highlight just a small number of the men and women whose work is instrumental in helping these vital institutions in drive forward their conservation initiatives.

“The list reveals a diverse range of designers, educators, conservationists, vets, senior executives and scientists, all of whom have been nominated by their peers and awarded a place in our final 50 by our judging panel. Congratulations to everyone who made the list.”
