SimEx-Iwerks Entertainment, an industry leader in immersive cinematic attractions, is celebrating the premiere of a new family-friendly special effects adventure, "Scoob! 4D Experience", in collaboration with Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment.
The show, which is exclusively available for SimEx-Iwerks 3D and 4D theatres, first opened at the Adventuredome at Cirus Cirus Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, last month.
An all new 4D adventure for the Mystery Machine
The new 4D experience is suitable for fans old and new, with much-loved characters Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Fred, Velma and Daphne all appearing over the course of the 14-minute adventure, as they solve a new mystery.
“This new experience is an impactful addition to our library because of the Scooby-Doo brand’s incredibly wide appeal,” says Mike Frueh, Senior Vice President, Licensing & Distribution, SimEx-Iwerks. “The whole family will find something to love in this show – nostalgic memories for the parents and grandparents, and fast-paced fun for the kids.”
The gang must face the biggest mystery yet, as they find out about a plan to release a wild beast from a prehistoric underworld. Together, they must join together and bring in other friends to help, as they battle robots and a new power-hungry villain. The audience will also discover more about Scooby's past and his secret legacy, all supported by all-new 3D animation and special effects.
“SCOOB! 4D” was transformed from Warner Bros. Picture’s theatrical release, “SCOOB!” which premiered in 2020.
SimEx-Iwerks also recently announced the release of a new collaboration with BBC Earth, Octopus: Blue Planet II 4D Experience. In addition, it has expanded its cooperation with Rad Raion. Now, SimEx-Iwerks will be able to offer exciting fly CGI titles from Red Raion’s catalogue for its FlyRide experience, starting with Aladdin – The Bachelor Party and Black Hole – The Multiverse War, the company’s first two licensed titles in this format.
