Brian Machamer is the park president of Six Flags Qiddiya City and the adjacent Aquarabia Water Theme Park, two flagship entertainment destinations under development in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
With more than three decades of international theme park leadership experience, Machamer oversees the operational design, development, and operational strategy for both parks as part of Qiddiya City’s pioneering role in Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 transformation.
Machamer began his career in 1990 with Universal Studios Florida, where he held senior roles across park operations. Over the following years, he helped launch and manage major theme park developments in Singapore, Malaysia, and the United Arab Emirates, including assignments at Universal Studios Singapore.
His work has spanned both mature and emerging markets, giving him a broad perspective on international guest expectations and large-scale attraction delivery.
Rebecca Hardy has over 10 years' experience in the culture and heritage sector. She studied Fine Art at university and has written for a broad range of creative organisations including artists, galleries, and retailers. When she's not writing, she spends her time getting lost in the woods and making mud pies with her young son.
