Brogent Technologies Inc., a leading manufacturer of media-based attractions, is celebrating the opening of Flying Over Saudi, the biggest flying theatre attraction in the Middle East.

The project in Riyadh, which launched on 24 December 2025, sets a new benchmark for large-scale, high-end flying theatre experiences and strengthens Riyadh’s reputation as a rapidly emerging destination for world-class attractions.

'Distinctive cinematography and multi-sensory storytelling'

Flying Over Saudi boasts a premium, next-generation flying experience, delivered through sophisticated flight simulation technology and cinematic storytelling.

This is powered by Brogent Technologies’ flagship i-Ride flying theatre system and the first-ever 8K projection system specifically developed for flying theatres, for refined motion performance and elevated realism.

Its capacity of up to 90 people per ride cycle balances operational efficiency with a consistently high-quality experience.

Visitors are enveloped by a 26-metre domed screen, complemented by synchronised motion seating and environmental effects like wind, mist, and scent, offering a fully immersive, multi-sensory flying experience.

A seven-minute original film takes them on an aerial adventure over Saudi Arabia’s most iconic natural and cultural landmarks, from mountains and deserts to coastlines and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hegra.

Emad Aleisa, CEO of Takwenat, says: "We are thrilled to collaborate with industry leader Brogent Technologies to launch the largest flying theater in the Middle East.

"Beyond its 8K visuals, the experience uses distinctive cinematography and multi-sensory storytelling to create a deep emotional connection to Saudi Arabia’s landscapes.

"Visitors can feel as if they are walking alongside pilgrims in Mecca, experiencing the atmosphere through sound, scent, and subtle motion, creating a truly memorable and emotionally engaging journey."

Chih-Hung Ouyang, chairman of Brogent Technologies, says: "The opening of Flying Over Saudi reflects the growing demand for premium, technology-driven immersive attractions across the Middle East.

"This project demonstrates how flying theater platforms can blend advanced ride systems with cinematic storytelling, offering a landmark experience that connects culture, tourism, and entertainment across the region."

Senior Saudi officials strongly supported the opening, emphasising the Kingdom’s commitment under Vision 2030 to expand its tourism, leisure, and cultural entertainment sectors.

In line with this vision, Flying Over Saudi demonstrates Riyadh’s developing role as a centre for innovative attraction development, leveraging immersive technology as an impactful platform for destination storytelling.

As the Middle East's largest flying theatre of its kind, this attraction showcases how scale and premium experience design can come together to transform audience engagement with culture, location, and tourism on an international stage

Recently, Brogent Technologies announced a collaboration with the Brazilian company Cacau Show in Itu, São Paulo, to bring the first flying theatre to South America. This project is scheduled to open in 2026 at Latin America's largest theme park and will extend Brogent’s presence into a new region.
