Developers of the world's first AI at the edge software for attraction monitoring and safety.
D-Tex Visual develops AI-powered monitoring and detection systems designed to improve safety, maintenance efficiency, and operational reliability across the theme park and attractions industry.
All hardware and software are designed and developed entirely in-house, enabling seamless integration, full technical support, and tailored solutions for specialist applications.
The company was founded by Lee Hollinshead, who brings a lifelong passion for the attractions industry, after he noticed existing methods of maintenance monitoring that consisted of paint markers on bolts. Wanting to find a solution for this antiquated method, he began researching alternative tech-driven options that not only provide a snapshot of a ride's status but monitor it continuously.
The company’s flagship innovation, Bolt-iT, is an intelligent sensor system for condition-based monitoring (CBM). Bolt-iT can be easily affixed to existing rides and infrastructure without the need for disassembly, resulting in a solution that maintains structural integrity while delivering consistent real-time monitoring

Bolt-iT's real-time analysis and reporting reduces reliance on manual inspections and minimises risk for engineers. The system is designed to support existing programmes, not replace them, helping operators to:
The company works with attractions and ride manufacturers looking to integrate advanced safety and tracking solutions into new and existing rides.
They are actively looking to collaborate with ride manufacturers who can incorporate Bolt-iT into their design and production as a standard feature or as an optional upgrade for operator clients. D-Tex Visual is also committed to research and development into new applications, such as third-party integrations and monitoring for coaster trains.
