Downtown FabWorks is a custom experiential fabrication and design firm specializing in crafting excellent experiences for clients across the attractions industry. From concept to execution, we combine diverse trades skills and fabrication techniques to deliver creative, high-quality results. Our turnkey solutions are designed to leave a lasting impact, every time.

The company was founded in 2019 by Daniel Krall to bring together skilled experts from a variety of trades under one roof. Drawing on over two decades of experience in exhibits, broadcast television, construction, and events, Daniel set out to build a custom fabrication firm that delivers practical, innovative solutions for a wide range of clients.

Services

We offer a full range of design and fabrication services, including:

• Project Management – Each project is assigned a dedicated project manager and project lead to ensure a seamless experience throughout the life of the project.

  Technical Design – Our design team collaborates with clients to develop concepts and choose the best materials and methods for each element of a project.

• CNC – We have two CNC machines, allowing for precise cutting of intricate designs in wood, HDU, acrylics, aluminum, and steel.
• Metalworks – Our welders are certified in multiple processes, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Finishing – The artists and artisans of our finishing team are experts in finishing techniques, from plaster and gold leaf application to automotive and cabinet-grade finishes.
• Millwork – Our carpenters are highly skilled in entertainment construction methods, traditional cabinet making, and custom wood fabrication with a wide variety of wood materials.
• Prop making – If you can imagine it, our team can build it. Our scenic artists craft custom, life-sized creations from materials like foam, HDU board, castings, and more.
• Lighting – The team has extensive experience working with lighting systems, integrating lighting effects during the fabrication and installation processes.
• Installation – The installation team has over a century of combined experience in bringing themed projects to life in a wide variety of environments and conditions.
