Gel Blaster is the company behind a new kind of FEC experience: Gel Blaster Nexus. Blending digital and physical gameplay, the experience combines the best elements of competitive gaming, laser tag, and paintball for a high adrenaline experience aimed at players of all ages.
Gel Blasters
Unlike traditional paintball guns, Gel Blaster uses a unique kind of ammunition called Gellets. These are water-absorbent beads which can expand when soaked in water, and explode on impact, disintegrating without leaving a mark on skin or clothes. This makes the Gel Blaster a safer, cleaner, and less painful alternative to other pellets on the market, whilst maintaining the thrill of a physical game.
Gel Blaster Nexus
Gel Blaster Nexus uses the classic Gel Blaster product and embeds it within a technology-driven, high-stakes, social entertainment game. With a wide range of different game modes, players are able to take part in more engaging play that traditional offerings. The library is constantly expanding too, which combined with players ability to create and grow their own profiles ensures that customers will keep coming back for more.
Whats included?
- The Smart Blaster: A first of its kind blaster that allows players to switch modes, deploy power ups, and keep track of their health and score all from a built in screen.
- The Nexus Tech Vest: Each player wears a Nexus Tech Vest, with embedded panels that keep track of hits, give haptic feedback, and are lit with LEDs.
- The Portal Smart Target: Integrated into the game play, smart targets can act as a home base, or even provide players with health and ability increases.
- Starfire Gellet Ammo: Physical projectiles made of squishy water absorbent gel, that glow in the dark and break apart on impact.
All of these elements are linked together by the Nexus Operations Software. This controls the game modes and provides FEC owners with operational analytics. All software updates are included.
