SUPERBIEN is a creative studio developing a range of art and commissioned projects for brands and organisations around the world, with the goal of creating shared spaces celebrating unique moments to combine the digital and physical world. Specialized in Visual Content and Interactive Installations, SUPERBIEN masters the fields of immersive exhibitions, live shows, video mapping, animated 2D/3D films, creative anamorphic billboards, AV/VR/XR, and online experiences, as well as innovative retail and permanent installations.
Founded in 2009, the studio’s projects are unique and tend to appreciate cultural forms, practices, and values. With originality and integrity, the team works very hard on all projects to evolve narratives from the past, present, and future. Experiences are shaped and defined through cutting-edge technologies including VR and AR to forego traditional experiences and create lasting memories.
The creatives at SUPERBIEN come from varying backgrounds including art, animation, experience design, scenography, creative strategy, and performing arts. Their work now extends to every corner of the globe – with the same expertly approached viewpoints and understandings every time. SUPERBIEN are experts in a number of areas, including:
- Visual Content – creating stories through unique imagery across a range of platforms including social media squares and billions of pixels to produce large scale projections. This content sparks emotion and is used to create surrealism and augmented realities.
- Experiential – producing large-scale immersive productions using innovative technologies. The team designs one-of-a-kind experiences to immerse audiences in the narrative and brings them closer to the action through the use of video mapping, moving sets, and holographic displays.
- Digital – audiences are provided with unique interactive environments creating high levels of engagement and creativity. Visitors are immersed in the experiences and co-creation to share a brand’s story.
- Installations – the SUPERBIEN team are experts at developping installations that sit at the crossroads of art and communication, blending emotion and information, using data as a seed for connection and education between creator and spectator. We design installations and environments that connect the dots of the complete consumer experience. At once physical and digital, vibrant and informative, magical and functional to increase awareness on a new level.
SUPERBIEN are proud to showcase the fun and innovative technology they house at their Paris head office, and this has lead to the birth of SUPERLAB. SUPERLAB invites musicians and creatives to explore innovative technology and push creativity to the extreme.
Examples of projects SUPERBIEN has worked on include SIDEREA at the Immersive Art Festival, Oceans – an immersive aquarium, The video Mapping on the Empire State Building for Netflix, and Monaco’s Immersion Oceano latest exhibition.
In 2023, to celebrate the 50 years anniversary of Hip Hop, SUPERBIEN joined forces with Mass Appeal and the Hall des Lumières to create HIP HOP TIL INFINITY, the first Multimedia Immersive Exhibitions about the Hip Hop history.
