Dronisos, a leading drone light show specialist, has revealed its world-first luminous floating drones synchronised with aerial drones, developed for the nighttime spectacular Disney Cascade of Lights.

Disney Cascade of Lights will launch on 29 March 2026 at Disney Adventure World, the reimagined second park at Disneyland Paris.

As the Official Technology Provider for Disneyland Paris, Dronisos' new innovation will deliver an unparalleled visual spectacle, turning the night sky above the park into an enchanting, immersive experience.

Combining air and water

Disneyland Paris and Dronisos' collaboration has taken its next step at XLabs, a laboratory which develops robotic solutions for the entertainment of the future.

Two years of co-development with Disneyland Paris’s creative and technical teams and Dronisos’ engineering team have resulted in an entirely new generation of autonomous aquatic drones that present new possibilities for nighttime spectaculars.

This landmark achievement is fully aligned with Dronisos' vision of using its robotics expertise to serve live entertainment.

Extensive research and development, along with proven execution, have resulted in this new generation of autonomous vehicles capable of bringing the creative and technical visions of entertainment leaders to life.

The new nighttime show above Adventure Bay lake features a ballet of 379 drones, complemented by giant water screens and innovative special effects.

Flying and floating drones are brought together for the first time in a Disneyland Paris show, blending air and water to set a new standard for immersive nighttime experiences.

The technology both highlights Disneyland Paris’s ongoing dedication to innovation in its nighttime spectaculars and strengthens Dronisos’ position as the worldwide leader in robotics for live entertainment.

Earlier this year, Dronisos announced a fourth consecutive year of its partnership with Dollywood with a drone show to mark the park's 40th anniversary.

The show will be Dollywood’s most spectacular to date, with a brand-new story with more drones, and in a first for the attraction, drones enhanced with pyrotechnics.
