Enchanted Forest is A FIRST‑OF‑ITS‑KIND IMMERSIVE MUSICAL JOURNEY. We introduced a new form of audio-visual experience, a space where guests come together to create unique and mesmerising orchestral symphonies. Our aim with this experience was to create a moment of magic - a space that lifts spirits, invites wonder, and connects people sharing a unique and special moment together.
By transforming the mobile device into a connector with the vast canvas, we used technology not as the focus, but as an enabler of something greater: a shared, collaborative experience that unites people in joy - each time uniquely co-created by the audience.
The story? A silent forest, once alive with melody, now lies still. Visitors are invited to help bring the music back by scanning a QR code, generating their own unique spirit character, and taking part in a live multiplayer orchestra.
Using their phones, guests will trigger different sound layers to rebuild the lost melody and bring the forest to life again. Every participant becomes part of the music. The experience blends cutting-edge real-time multiplayer technology with live audience interaction, Enchanted Forest responds in real time to visitors movements, actions, and musical choices. With more than 300 variations per session, each performance evolves into something unique - an ever-changing composition shaped entirely by the people in the room.
Every character and instrument was crafted with great attention to detail, each brought to life through unique, individual animations.
To bring high performance interactive to live, we utilised Unreal Engine for rendering and Ventuz for pushing pixels and parts of the interactions on the LED's. The interactive visuals are topped off with custom composed sounds that have 51 surround experience utilising a massive array of L'Acoustics speakers.
The Outernet venue is free and open to all, making it the perfect stage for this immersive experience. Its accessibility invites a wide audience to step inside, take part, and share the wonder together.
