Environmental Street Furniture (ESF), a supplier of exterior street furniture products, along with its creative division, Themed Benches, has launched a new Intellectual Property (IP) Partnership Program.

This is designed to help brands, licensors, and attractions bring their stories to life through themed, immersive outdoor furniture.

Drawing on years of experience working with clients like Warner Bros., LEGOLAND, and Expo 2020 Dubai, ESF’s latest initiative helps entertainment franchises, sports teams, and cultural brands revamp public spaces through unique, story-rich designs.

It features sculptural benches, interactive seating, and branded smart furniture, transforming everyday functional items into memorable brand experiences.

“Outdoor spaces are powerful storytelling platforms,” says the firm. “Through our IP Partnership Program, we’re helping brands extend their worlds into the real environment — creating lasting emotional connections where people gather, rest, and interact.”

Creating emotional connections

Themed Benches, part of the ESF portfolio, demonstrates how creativity and craftsmanship can enhance everyday objects. Each project combines engineering skill with visual appeal to create installations that are both long-lasting and memorable.

By integrating this design expertise with adaptable licensing and co-branding options, the IP Partnership Program provides IP owners with innovative opportunities to connect with audiences and create sustained value.

The programme offers a comprehensive end-to-end service, covering concept design, prototyping, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance. It guarantees quality, compliance, and brand consistency throughout.

Whether serving theme parks, sports venues, city centres, or retail spaces, ESF’s methodology improves placemaking and strengthens brand storytelling within the built environment.

“Our vision is to make outdoor spaces as engaging as the experiences they surround,” adds the company. “By blending art, engineering, and brand identity, we’re helping destinations stand out in the global experience economy."

ESF also recently revealed its new Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiative. Named 'ESG by ESF', this has been developed to help organisations meet their Scope 3 emissions reduction and Net Zero targets.

The extensive range of sustainable street furniture offerings includes 100% recycled plastic products, solar-powered solutions, and wind energy technologies.
