The International Museum Construction Congress (IMCC) will be hosting a conference in Copenhagen, Denmark from 02 – 04 November 2025.
The IMCC brings attendees worldwide to share project updates, best practices and case studies from cultural projects that are either in the planning phase, building underway or recently completed. The IMCC audience is comprised of museum leaders, architects, project managers, project directors, museum leadership, facilities and security administrators, business development directors, finance & procurement directors, collections & exhibition directors, social media directors.
IMCC Copenhagen 2025 will explore how storytelling shapes museum design, bringing together architects, curators, and exhibition designers to co-create immersive, unified visitor experiences. The conference highlights how early collaboration ensures that architecture, content, and design seamlessly weave together, transforming spaces and collections into compelling narratives that engage and inspire.
IMCC Copenhagen 2025 offers an extensive programme featuring 16 insightful sessions, exclusive access to Copenhagen’s premier cultural institutions, and unique experiences including an architecture cruise and a special tour, session, and reception at BIG’s Copenhagen Studio. Attendees can also enjoy pre-congress behind-the-scenes field trips and benefit from seven hours of dedicated networking opportunities.

Pre-congress field trips on 1 November are limited in capacity, so attendees wishing to take part should be sure to reserve their place when completing registration.
