The 79th WAZA Annual Conference will be taking place in Sydney, Australia on 3 - 7 November 2024. This year's conference will be hosted in the heart of Sydney at Taronga Zoo, an institution firmly dedicated to conservation, rehabilitation, and education.
Aiming to promote efforts to protect the natural world, the 2024 conference brings together industry professionals from the zoo, aquarium and conservation communities. With discussions focusing on sustainable palm oil, plastic pollution, illegal wildlife trade and species conservation, attendees can learn through sharing knowledge and experiences from conservation experts.
