Game Time International (GTI), a leading global platform for the game & amusement industry, celebrates the success of the 18th GTI China Expo, held in Guangzhou from 10 to 12 September.
This year's expo attracted nearly 600 exhibitors across 80,000 square meters, including more than 200 first-time participants. They connected with professional buyers from over 100 countries and regions, with a total of 120,000 visits.
The event highlighted technology, digital-physical integration, cross-industry collaboration, IP, culture, and internationalisation, reflecting four key industry trends: the addition of AI, IP-led growth, cultural-tourism integration, and global expansion.

Organisers say these figures reflect strong industry confidence and signal that the global game and amusement industry is moving beyond recovery into a new growth cycle.
As a leading B2B exhibition and trade platform in Asia, GTI China Expo connects sectors and delivers trend insights, business matchmaking, and brand-building services to global industry players, helping drive the industry forward.
Key trends
This year's expo centred on five key trends: cultural tourism integration, digital-physical convergence, IP empowerment, industrial upgrading, and international connectivity.
It addressed industry pain points and future opportunities, breaking down barriers between traditional amusement and cultural tourism to foster cross-sector collaboration across multiple formats.
The expo brought technology and entertainment together through immersive experiences, interactive robots, and playful robot dogs. It showcased advances spanning amusement equipment, digital cultural tourism, VR/AR/MR, creative IP, and digital sports, highlighting the industry’s ongoing transformation.
Livestreams also gave audiences an inside look at the exhibition and its blend of technology, tourism, and entertainment.

The participation of professional buyers from more than 100 countries and regions underscores five key strengths of GTI China Expo.
This includes global reach across six continents; a growing base of high-quality buyers with strong purchasing potential; clear market demand reflected in procurement, investment and operational plans; a central role in connecting the global amusement industry supply chain; and China's expanding international presence, spanning brands, integrated systems, technical standards and operational expertise—not just equipment exports.
From a three-day exhibition to year-round partnerships, GTI China Expo connects global demand with China's amusement supply chain. Bringing buyers from over 100 countries and regions to Guangzhou, it has grown into a hub for collaboration and innovation, showcasing Chinese suppliers while helping manufacturers understand international markets.
As buying priorities shift, companies offering stronger returns, integrated solutions, advanced technology and valuable IP will be best placed to compete globally.
Save the date
GTI China Expo 2026 brought together international participants across the amusement and attractions industry.
With a broad supply chain and a lively focus on innovation, the exhibition connected buyers and suppliers, built confidence amid market uncertainty, and fostered exchanges on products, technologies, business models and industry trends. It continues to grow into a key platform for international cooperation, innovation and shared growth.

The 19th GTI China Expo will be held from September 10 to 12, 2027, at Area A of the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China.
Organisers say they look forward to welcoming industry professionals from around the world back to Guangzhou in 2027 to explore new opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and begin another chapter in the global amusement industry's development.
