Haystack Dryers, a supplier of patented body drying products, has installed a Cyclone Dryer at Gyeongju World, a leading theme park in South Korea.
The Dryer serves riders on The Submarine Splash. This popular water ride has a height of 32m (104 ft), making it one of the highest water coasters in Asia.

The Submarine Splash drenches its riders, who can now dry off more easily thanks to the new Cyclone Dryer. This facility means that guests can continue enjoying the park’s other attractions without worrying about their clothes being wet.
This installation is the first of its kind at Gyeongju World, and demonstrates the park’s ongoing commitment to providing a world-class visitor experience.
Additionally, the unit at Gyeongju World marks the third Haystack Dryer to be located in South Korea.
Growing international presence
The company's unique patented range of body drying products can be found at attractions like theme parks and water parks across the globe, as well as locations such as zoos, resorts, hotels, and community attractions.
Recent installations include a unit at the Denny Sanford Family Splash Pad at Great Plains Zoo in South Dakota, US, and two Cyclone Dryers to accompany the Mission Bermudes water ride at Futuroscope, one of France’s most innovative and immersive theme parks.
At Alton Towers, UK, the company has expanded its fleet to seven units with the installation of two further Haystack Cyclone Dryers to accompany the new Toxicator attraction. Meanwhile, at Mirabilandia in Italy, a fifth full-body dryer has now been installed.
Universal Beijing Resort has added two Haystack Dryers to enhance the comfort of guests at its theme park. These new amenities aim to help visitors dry off swiftly after enjoying water-based attractions, especially during the park’s busy summer season.
Also in China, Legoland Shanghai has added three advanced Haystack Dryers throughout the park in time for the busy summer season. The dryers have been providing visitors with a quick and convenient way to dry off after enjoying the water rides and splash zones.
