Natasha Mortimer is the managing director and creative director of Imagineerium, an immersive design start-up. She originally trained as an architect before graduating from the most prestigious theatre design course in the UK. She has since worked worldwide with some of the biggest brands at the top of their game. A career highlight was pioneering the first ever 100% female build for one of the main stages at the UK’s iconic Glastonbury Festival.
Imagineerium was recently named New Business of the Year at the Business Champion Awards 2023. Focused on representing women in the industry, their achievements and capabilities, Mortimer is imperative to the female talent pipeline within the immersive industry and is a beacon for empowerment as a future leader.
Imagineerium provides all-inclusive services that include design, creative strategy and production management. It creates immersive events and experiences that capture audiences, with a strong emphasis on using innovation and compelling experiences to leave a lasting impact. Its first commission was for a fan zone for the F1 Saudi Arabia Grand Prix. Since then, the company has worked on the design teams for Wake the Tiger in Bristol and Money Heist The Experience in London.
It is estimated that the firm’s 2021-2022 projects have reached an audience engagement of around 1 million and provided work for around 40 freelance creatives.
