Tshireletso Tshwenyane is a technical producer at Sea Monster Entertainment and previously worked as an immersive media producer at Electric South, a non-profit based in Cape Town that supports African digital creators by facilitating immersive storytelling through virtual and augmented reality.
Tshwenyane’s role includes producing innovative projects that highlight unique African perspectives, combining immersive technology with cultural narratives to tell impactful stories. Her work with Electric South involved connecting creators with resources, mentorship, and funding to develop and showcase their work globally, including at major events like South by Southwest (SXSW), where Electric South recently presented a collaborative VR project focused on African stargazing traditions and fashion in VR.
Tshireletso Tshwenyane is dedicated to fostering an ecosystem for African creatives in extended reality (XR), helping the industry grow through initiatives that provide both visibility and distribution for underrepresented voices in digital media.
