Valeria Rizzo Chief Brand Officer Red Raion

Valeria Rizzo, chief brand officer at Red Raion, the CGI studio for media-based attractions, is a professional with almost a decade of experience in global themed location-based entertainment. A multilingual business strategy expert, she specialises in international business development and brand building within the attractions industry.

Since its inception in 2015, Rizzo has played a vital role at Red Raion. She leads the company’s efforts to create innovative, immersive custom and licensed CGI content for various media attractions and experiences. These include virtual reality, 5D experiences, domes, flying theatres, dark rides, video mapping, and more catering to theme parks, family entertainment centres, and museums worldwide.

Since its inception, the company has developed robust vertical expertise, focusing on immersive CGI content specifically for media-driven attractions and experiences.

Starting from the ground up, Valeria Rizzo has spent over 8 years as the business development director, overseeing operations in business development, brand strategy, sales, strategic partnerships, and public relations. Her commitment has resulted in the satisfaction of more than 100 clients and partners in over 35 countries within the attractions industry. Armed with three master’s degrees in international business, cooperation, and communication, and fluency in Italian, English, and Spanish—along with a basic understanding of Chinese—she brings extensive knowledge and a global outlook to her position.

She aims to raise operators’ awareness that content is king inside an immersive experience. It must be integrated into the overall design from the outset rather than considered a final step, as is often the case. The media should align with the entire immersive experience.

In her present position, she develops strategies that connect marketing and sales to broaden the brand’s global presence and support its sustainable growth.

She is also an EME board member for the Themed Entertainment Association and volunteers on the events committee for MENALAC.
